Signups
Most of the program you can just turn up to the room to watch, but some items (table talks, workshops, and Discord games) have limited space and will require signing up in advance. You can do that on this page.
If you need assistance, head to either of the in-person Info Desks, the #help-desk channel on the official convention Discord, or email virtual-support@lacon.org.
Signups will be available from 8AM – 7PM PDT the day before the session. To accommodate travel needs, signups for Thursday sessions will open at 8AM PDT on Monday, August 24, and close at 7PM PDT Wednesday.
Admission to events which are oversubscribed will be strictly by lottery; there is no advantage to signing up early. Within a few hours after the signup period closes, each member will receive an email (to the address entered in the form) informing them if they have been admitted to the session or not, or whether they have been placed on a waiting list.
If you want to attend a Table Talk at a particular time but do not have a preference which one, fill out the form for the appropriate hour labeled "Table Talk Open Signup" in the Table Talk section. We will then allocate you to a Table Talk that has open spaces in that time slot.
Every day, a list of items requiring signups that are under capacity will be posted in the Convention Discord. If you wish to attend, arrive 5 minutes before the start time, and we'll accommodate as many people as possible. Please do not arrive earlier for this purpose.
